IFA combines first class exhibition facilities with a superb location. The venue is adjacent to Alicante airport, yet less than 100km from the Navantia shipyard – home to four under-construction S-80 class submarines.
How do I get to UDT 2012?
The Exhibition Center of Alicante is located at km 731 on N-340 state highway going from Alicante to Elche and only a few minutes away from "El Altet" International Airport. There is direct access to IFA at exit 72 of the Mediterranean Spanish A-7 highway going from Alicante to Murcia.
There are daily trains arriving at the train station (RENFE) in Alicante from Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona. And it is also connected to the European railway network.
Buses are available regularly from the Central Bus Station in Alicante and Elche to the other Spanish regions or international countries.

What is the UDT Admissions Policy?
UDT is open to Government, Armed Forces, Police, Ministry of Defence visitors (UK and overseas), Media and Trade visitors. If you wish to attend the exhibition or have been invited to attend, you are expected to apply via the online registration system.

| All Visitors should be engaged in bona fide areas of the security industry, the armed forces, government, equipment procurement organisations, specifiers, operators/end-users, trade media or research establishments. | |
| All stand personnel, visitors, guests and stand contractors acknowledge that only the Organiser’s official admission badge, worn by the person named on it, will permit admission (as the Organiser’s licensee) into UDT 2012. The badge remains the property of the Organiser and has a notional value of 0.01p. | |
| No person named on the badge or the company, firm or business, which that person represents, may permit the badge to be worn by another person. The wearing of a badge under these circumstances will constitute appropriation, an automatic termination of such license and will be sufficient grounds for the unauthorised individual to be removed from the exhibition. It may also lead to prosecution. Identity checks will be conducted as a condition of entry. | |
| Any person found to be registering to attend UDT 2012 using false information/credentials or deliberately with-holding information will have their application automatically denied and may be liable to prosecution. | |
| All persons attending the exhibition should carry and produce on request a supporting personal photographic identity document - passport, photo-ID driving license, national identity or similar. Company identification cards will not be accepted. | |
| All stand personnel, visitors, guests, stand contractors and service providers should pre-register. Their names will be subject to a security clearance process. | |
| All persons attending the exhibition must wear business or service dress. | |
| No person under the age of 18 years, including children of exhibitors, will be admitted during the exhibition period. | |
| Anyone attending UDT must not take part in any canvassing, leafleting, demonstrations, objectionable behaviour or any activity which may disrupt the exhibition. | |
| Without prejudice, the Organisers reserve the right to exclude or remove anyone from UDT who does not comply with this policy or who they reasonably consider are likely to break these rules. | |
