The DisTec Undersea Challenge invites innovators and progressive organisations to showcase their solutions which can disrupt the undersea defence environment as we know it.

This opportunity offers the defence community, and those currently serving other industry verticals, to demonstrate recent technological advances which are applicable to the undersea domain. An expert judging panel, comprising representatives from military, trade press and industry, will assess each entry in a competitive digital environment.

Submit entry

This undersea variation follows on from the inaugural DisTec Challenge - focussing on military training and simulation solutions - which took place earlier this year.

All shortlisted entries will be displayed on the competition website, creating a showcase of emerging solutions.

The judging panel will select three finalists to proceed to the Grand Final - broadcast live online on Wednesday 30 June 2021. Winning organisations will receive a complimentary exhibition stand at the next edition of UDT, worth up to £4,000.

What are we looking for?

Entries can apply to all areas of undersea defence technology such as:

  • Autonomous/AI Systems
  • Machine Learning
  • Undersea Networking
  • Sensor Processing
