Now in its 30th year UDT, Europe’s leading event for the underwater maritime community, will take place in Bremen, Germany from 30th May – 1st June 2017. UDT is a multi-faceted event that reflects this community's desire for continuous learning to deal with the world's increasingly diverse set of threats and challenges.
The UDT conference addresses a broad remit, promoting the vital creative dialogue between users, researchers, academia and industry. This year the conference will focus on ‘Optimising the constants by maximising the variables’ with this theme being explored throughout UDT’s diverse conference structure.
The Keynote Address at this year’s conference will be delivered by Vice Admiral Andreas Krause, Chief of the German Navy. Admiral Krause brings a wealth of experience from a highly successful career in the Bundeswehr and the German Navy. Following on from the opening Keynote, the Plenary Panel will explore how the key variables of technology, science and skills can be brought to bear in furthering Undersea Defence.
As well as a world class panel of international military and industry experts, we are delighted to announce that we will be joined at UDT 2017 by over 40 VIP representatives from 12 countries.
