During registration, you will be asked to select a badge type depending on your role in defence and security. Please ensure you select an appropriate category based on the criteria below and complete registration here.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the attendee must be a serving member of the active or reserve military, including air forces, armies, navies, special forces, coast guards, marines, gendarmerie or similar security/armed forces.

The attendee must have a rank and should register with a military email address. For verification purposes, applicants may be required to supply military ID.

Pricing information

Military passes grant free-of-charge access to the exhibition and all conference sessions.

Networking tickets must be reserved during registration.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the attendee must be a civilian meeting one or more of the following criteria:

  • employed by a ministry or department of defence
  • employed by a national government
  • employed by an organisation owned or operated by the government
  • employed in the public sector
  • employed in public administration

The attendee should register using a government or public sector organisation email address.

Discretionary discounts

At the discretion of the event organisers, free-of-charge conference access may be available for senior government or public sector officials in key procurement, policy or requirement-setting roles. To apply for complimentary access, please click here.

UDT is seeking to encourage postgraduate researchers, apprentices and recent graduates to be a part of UDT 2020 in Rotterdam.

Eligibility

Young Professional delegate passes, granting access to all conference sessions at a discounted rate of £500, are available to applicants meeting one or more of the following criteria:

  • Current PhD or postgraduate student in a relevant field of study
  • Apprentice at a relevant organisation operating in undersea defence technology
  • Under the age of 25 and working at a relevant organisation operating in undersea defence technology
  • Graduated from university in 2018 or later and working at a relevant organisation operating in undersea defence technology

Eligibility

To be eligible, the attendee must be an accredited member of the press – print media, radio or news agency – with a proven track record of reporting on matters relating to defence and security.

The attendee may be required to supply media accreditation and relevant examples of previous work.

Exhibition access

UDT features a three-day exhibition packed with organisations operating in undersea defence and security domains.

The exhibition is free to attend for all visitors, providing you register before 20 November 2020. After this date, there is a £50 administration fee.

Conference access

The UDT conference features a choice of concurrent streams as well as a Military Diver Capabilities conference.

Representatives from public sector, academia and industry can purchase two- or three-day passes to attend the conference.

Young Professional Discount

UDT is seeking to encourage postgraduate researchers, apprentices and recent graduates to be a part of UDT 2020 in Rotterdam. We are actively working with organisations, universities and agencies to encourage those starting out their engagement with the underwater defence community to attend the event.

Young Professional delegate passes, granting access to all conference sessions at a discounted rate of £500, are available to applicants meeting one or more of the following criteria:

  • Current PhD or postgraduate student in a relevant field of study
  • Apprentice at a relevant organisation operating in undersea defence technology
  • Under the age of 25 and working at a relevant organisation operating in undersea defence technology

Networking tickets

The offsite networking evening is a ticketed event. Tickets must be reserved (military only) or purchased (all other badge types: £90) during registration.

Military Diver Capabilities

Please note, if you have purchased a Conference Pass you will have access to all conference streams, including Europe's only dedicated Military Diver Capabilities conference. The diving conference can also be accessed separately for a reduced fee, but you will not be able to attend the core UDT conference streams.
