Mr Andreas Behringer

Andreas Behringer received his Bachelor of Science in Material Sciences in 2014 at the Technical University Berlin, Germany. His studies there were focused on metallic materials with a spotlight on light metallic alloys. He followed it up with a Master of Science Material Sciences at the Technical University Ilmenau, Germany where he graduated in 2016. During his Masters studies he focused on glasses and ceramics, with special attention to dielectric, magnetic and piezoelectric materials. He is currently working towards his PhD at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, cooperating closely with the Acoustics and Sonar department of TNO. The topic of his research are wideband sonar transducers based on new materials.
