I am a Projects, Strategic Relationships and Knowledge Exchange Manager with 15 years experience in the HE sector. I am focused on research project delivery, government and industry engagement, relationship management and secure economic growth activities in the maritime sector, with a particular emphasis on cyber security in vessels, ports, maritime supply chains and offshore energy developments designated Critical National Infrastructure. I manage the University of Plymouth’s flagship Maritime Cyber Security research project the Cyber-SHIP Lab, a multi-million pound facility funded by Research England & UoP in partnership with key industry and Defence stakeholders. I also manage the new CROWN (Cyber Resilience of Offshore Wind Networks) research project, funded by HotSW LEP, which widens our research focus into the offshore wind energy sector. I am on the steering committee for the South West Regional Defence and Security Cluster and chair their Cyber Security Special Interest Group.
