Director Innovation in L3Harris-Calzoni Business. He has a MS degree in Automation Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. Employed in Calzoni since 1986 as technical leader, Engineering manager to the actual position. His main competences on Automatic Navigation and Mine Warfare have been applied in a number of marine applications including systems for MCMV and more recently the development of USVs and UUVs. He served as member of the Marine Systems Technical Committee of IFAC (International Federation of Automatic Control) from 1995 to 2005 and authored more than 15 papers at international conferences and technical journals. The innovation activity include the publication of several patents also in the underwater domain and solutions in the Helicopter Visual Landing Aids area.
