Erica Mogas Cruz

Erica holds a MSc in Marine Ecology, from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, with specialization in underwater noise impacts on marine life, and has been working since 2012 in the field. She participated in several projects dealing with environmental impacts of marine renewables being active in several flagship projects such as WaveRoller Peniche, WindFloat 1 and WindFloat Atlantic. She promoted and coordinated the first Portuguese joint initiative for the implementation of Marine Strategy Framework in Portugal, the jUMP project. She was the project manager of SOUNDS, which culminated in a EMSA-report on the status of continuous underwater noise from shipping. Currently, she is the CEO of HydroTWIN, a spin-off of blueOASIS.
