Per Granberg received the M.S. degree in engineering physics from the Institute of Technology at Uppsala University in 1985. In 1990 he received the Ph.D degree in solid state physics (magnetism) at Uppsala University. Then he received a researcher position at Uppsala University and became Associate Professor in soild state physics in 1997. His research was focussed on disordered magnetic systems, thin film magnetism and rare-earth permanent magnets. Since 2001 he has been working for Kockums AB with focus on magnetics. Today he has a position as a Specialist in Magnetics at the signature department at Kockums.
