Tim Vickery joined the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (part of the UK Ministry of Defence) in 2006 following 20 years service in the Royal Navy as a Underwater Warfare Officer at sea and in Staff roles at Fleet Headquarters Northwood and warship acquisition at Defence Equipment and Support. He is currently a Senior Principal Adviser within the UK MoD underwater science and technology programme.
